We're finally into December, and Christmas will soon be upon us! With that in mind, we're going to be spotlighting a classic 80's Christmas movie full of tinsel, lights, food, and the abject horror of taking a gift home, only to find that it turns into a demon that wants nothing more than to kill you and your whole family. Yes, it's Joe Dante's classic, Gremlins! Joining us to unwrap this Christmas treat is none other than the lovely Claire Vaughan, all the way from Chapter Arts in Cardiff! It's all about Transformers in 1987 this week, as Andy Welch from the Smorgaspod joins Glenn again, as they have a bit of a natter about probably their favourite era of the Robots in Disguise, where everything went a bit mental, neon colours became the norm, and the term "Masters" got thrown about a bit liberally! Welcome, Watchers of Illusion, to the Castle of Confusion, to join Glenn and this week's guest, the awesomely talented writer George Daniel Lea, who wants nothing more than to talk about one of this favourite things from the 1980s - the evergreen, amazing game show (for kids, mind) - Knightmare! Will he be successful in his quest, or will the Catacomb Bite devoure him before the exit to Level 2? Beware, team! We're joined again by Mr Christ Vint this week, to talk about a classic piece of British telly that he truly loves, the seminal dramedy from 1983, penned by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais - Auf Wiedersehen, Pet!
