Hosted by Glenn and Phil, this podcast is a virtual trip back in time to the halcyon days of our childhood - the 1980s (and early 1990s). Every week we explore at least one facet of 80's pop culture, discuss questions from our listeners, and report the news from at least 4 of the main franchises of the 80's that are still around today!

Nerva Beacon's Leigh joins Glenn this week, as they go back in time to not only Medieval England, but also the Elizabethan era, The Regency and First World War Flanders (by way of Victorian London at Christmastime).

They are, of course, taking a trip through history and exploring the dastardly family tree of the rotten Blackadder dynasty, so expect not only Edmund himself, but Baldrick, Percy, Melchett, Queenie, ESPECIALLY Flashheart, and everyone else, along with some thoroughly cunning plans.

Wubble.

It's time for even more of a stroll down memory lane for Glenn this week, as he's joined by a pal from his childhood, someone he's known for 28 years! Andy from the Smorgaspod co-hosts this time around, as they discuss Transformers, Star Wars and a good few more nostalgic touchstones!

Jenny from World of Crap is back this week, and as it's holiday time for most of us, we're having a nostalgie about the caravan holidays we had in the 80s!

From mountains of sandwiches in cool boxes, to talent competitions at the caravan clubhouse, even Max Bygraves on the car stereo - it's all here!

So buckle up, make sure the car battery is connected to the portable telly, and make yourself comfy on the sculpted velour sofa!

It's episode 300! You should all be very proud of yourselves for getting this far!

We're not resting on our laurels here at BTTE Towers though, and to this end, we have to unveil our new co-host, none other than Matty Franklyn of the Reuse Your Old Adventure Podcast!

To give Matty the warmest welcome possible, we're spotlighting a Japanese Transformers series from the Eighties that many consider to be among the best - Super-God Masterforce!

What's YOUR favourite Japanese Transformers series? Do you prefer their Headmaster concept (smaller robot becomes larger robot), or is the Western version more to your taste (smaller being merges with larger being in a mind meld situation)? Let us know, and we'll read out your answers next week!

This week's episode is all about FEAR. TERROR. Forget YOLO, because the Public Information Films of the 70's and 80's made sure that you'd never want to try anything new, EVER.

Joining Glenn this week are Jenny from the World of Crap and comedy writer and author Joe Turner, to travel far into the world of Brian Wilde warning us of electrical substations, Charley saying stuff, and Dark and Lonely Water.
